Multi-Objective Design for Critical Supporting Parameters of Vacuum-Insulated Glazing with a Case Study

Vacuum-insulated glazing (VIG) has excellent sound and heat insulation anti-fogging properties, having been a typical structure–function-integrated glass deep processing product. However, overlapping, vacancy excessive spacing distance of the supporting pillars will increase concentrated stress for substrate, raising potential risk failure. Therefore, this study, aiming to address high cost sample preparation multiple factors affecting distribution, developed multi-objective design stress. In paper, optimization model was designed based on comprehensive mechanical analysis under square-distributed supporting. The critical radius as well were solved met strength requirement. Case simulation demonstrated that 0.2 mm or more 63 less acceptable placement methods which conformed requirements. This research act theoretical reference future studies, promoting in-depth development VIG exploration high-strength safety products.
